Shelly Ann YOHO, 44, of Rawlins, Wyoming, and formerly of Birmingham, died at 5:50 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, near Elk Mountain, Wyoming, as a result of an accident in a construction area.
In accordance with her wishes, the body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date, with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Douds (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).
Gifts to a memorials to be designated later by the family can be mailed to the family at 22963 Route J16, Birmingham 52535.
Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. YOHO was born Nov. 13, 1970, in Ottumwa, the daughter of David P. and Joy K. TAYLOR YOHO. She married Brian HEGG Feb. 14, 2003, in Bemidji, Minnesota. They later divorced.
Ms. YOHO grew up 5 miles south of Douds and later moved to Cantril. She graduated from Fox Valley High School in Milton in 1989. She graduated from Indian Hills Community College in 1992 with an Associate Degree in arts and sciences. Following college, she stayed in Ottumwa, then moved to Bemidji, where she attended Church of Christ.
She moved to Warroad, Minnesota. Most recently, she lived in Rawlins, Wyoming, where she worked for a railroad company.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, camping, hunting fishing and anything associated with art.
Survivors include: her parents, David and Joy YOHO of Birmingham; one sister, Sheri CALHOUN of Mt. Pleasant; and one grandmother, Lois YOHO of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Grand and Lucille TAYLOR and Cale YOHO.

Shelly Ann YOHO, 44, of Rawlins, Wyoming, and formerly of Birmingham, died at 5:50 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, near Elk Mountain, Wyoming, as a result of an accident in a construction area.
In accordance with her wishes, the body has been cremated. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. July 8 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Rod Cooper officiating. Burial of cremains will be at 10 a.m. July 9 in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Douds.
Visitation, with family present, will be 5-7 p.m. July 8 prior to the service.
