Margaret A. ESHELMAN, 78, of Lockridge died Wednesday afternoon, June 3, 2015, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
The funeral wil be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at New Sweden Methodist Church, northwest of Lockridge, with the Rev. Diane Brokken officiating. Interment will be in Hope Lutheran Cemetery near Germanville.
The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. ESHELMAN was born April 1, 1937, in Lockridge, the daughter of Otto Fay and Dorothy SCHLARBAUM VORHIES. She married Alva Gene ESHELMAN Feb. 5, 1956. He died Aug. 12, 2008.
A lifetime resident of the Lockridge community, she was a graduate of Lockridge High School.
She was a certified nurses aide for 40 years at the Jefferson County Hospital before her retirement.
She was a member of New Sweden Methodist Church and was the church organist for many years.
Survivors include: three daughters, Patricia J. GATES and husband Steven of Birmingham, Pam FRIEDEN of Mt. Pleasant and Peggy BERGER and husband Jim of Smithville, Missouri; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joan BERG of Denver, Colorado.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Walter VORHIES and Donald VORHIES; and two sisters, Elaine McCLURE and Helen VORHIES.
