Donald Eugene FLEIG, 58 of Fairfield, died Sunday, May 17, 2015, at his home.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Len Maselli officiating. Per his wishes, the body has been cremated, and a private burial of cremains will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Visitation for family and friends will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to Fairfield Little League or the donor's choice. Cards and memorials can be mailed to Cinda EMERSON, 1618 Dogwood Drive, Fairfield 52556. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.behnerfh.com.

Mr. FLEIG was born Oct. 9, 1956, the son of William L. and Mary RYAN FLEIG.

He lived all his life in Fairfield.

He worked at Alaniz Metro group for 28 years as a machine operator.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Survivors include: his mother; two sisters, Denise BLOUGH of Iowa City, and Cinda EMERSON and husband Bruce of Fairfield; three brothers, Randy FLEIG and wife Roberta of Libertyville, Billy FLEIG and wife Jan of Mt. Pleasant, and Jeff FLEIG and wife Laura JENKINS of St. Louis, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents.
