Herbert Crow, 84, of Kerrville, Texas, and formerly of Fairfield, died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at his home.

A family memorial service will be held in Steamboat, Colo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sid Peterson Hospice, 1121 Broadway, Kerrville, Texas 78028.

Wrights Funeral Parlor in Kerrville is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Crow was born Jan. 31, 1920, in Iowa City, the son of Ira and Erma Beth Brown Crow.

He attended school in Fairfield before serving in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was employed as an engineer with Atlantic Richfield until his retirement.

He moved to Kerrville from Steamboat.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Geesley and Nancy Ashman; and five granddaughters.
