Darlene LANKFORD, 65, of Libertyville, died Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Good Samaritan Society Van Buren in Keosauqua.

Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is helping the family with arrangements.

Darlene Sue LANKFORD

Darlene Sue LANKFORD, 65, died Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Van Buren County Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Fell Cemetery in Libertyville.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family. Cards and memorials can be sent to 305 Broadway, Apt. No. 4, Libertyville 52567. Online condolences can be made at www.behnerfh.com.

Mrs. LANKFORD was born Aug. 24, 1949, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Melvin Edgar and Willa Mae JONES GOBBLE. She married Larry LANKFORD March 14, 1977, in Memphis, Missouri.

Mrs. LANKFORD worked at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield for 14 years as a certified nurse's aide.

Some of her hobbies and interests were crocheting, playing bingo, computer games, cards, collecting unicorns and Tweety Bird.

Mrs. LANKFORD was a member of the Eagles Club in Fairfield.

Survivors include: her husband, Larry LANKFORD of Libertyville; five children, Tim LANKFORD and wife Petra of What Cheer, Pamela WILLIAMS and husband Wyatt of Libertyville, William LANKFORD and wife Jacqueline of California, Lisa REYNOLDS and husband Jeff of Colorado, and Terry LANKFORD of Missouri; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Cathy RUBY of Ottumwa and Barb TOPPING of Stockport.

She was preceded in death by: her twin sister, Charlene ELKINS; and her parents.
