Blanche Greiner, 94, of Chandler, Ariz. and formerly of Packwood, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Stephen Page officiating.

Gould Funeral Home in Richland is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Greiner was born April 15, 1910, in Martinsburg. She married Frank Greiner.

She and her husband farmed near Packwood and Richland for many years.

Mrs. Greiner helped found the public library in Richland and served on the library board for many years.

In 1988, she moved to the Chandler Villa Retirement Apartments and recently resided in Sharon's Adult Group Home in Chandler.
