Frances L. Turner, 82, of 807 S. Maple St., died at 1:35 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2004, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Foursquare Gospel Church, with the Rev. Jim Cecil and the Rev. Howard Innis officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.

Mrs. Turner was born June 21, 1922, in Fairfield, the daughter of Cliff and Eva L. Scarff Miller. She married Frederick "Buss" Turner July 4, 1938, in Lancaster, Mo. He died March 21, 2000.

She lived her life in the Fairfield community and graduated from Fairfield High School. She was the owner of Iowa Tire Sales for 61 years.

Mrs. Turner was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mona Sue Howard and husband Gary of Fairfield and Crystal Reneker and husband Gary of Douds; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bette Goodwin of Fairfield.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son; and four sisters, Agnes Eskew, Alvena Briggs, Alma Ruby and Wanda Greenland.
