Peter Gamble

Peter Gamble of Auburn, Calif., died June 28, 2004, from complications of diabetes in Fair Oaks, Calif.

Peter was born June 6, 1932. He was raised in Fairfield, Iowa, and was a graduate of the University of Iowa. The last 30 years of his career, he taught English at Lowell High School in San Francisco, Calif.

Peter is survived by his wife, Kate, and his sons, Brice of San Francisco and Jason, who is currently serving with the military in Telafar, Iraq.

Peter also is survived by his daughter-in-law, Kristine Gamble, and his grandchild, Amanda Anne Gamble, both of Mount View, Calif. He also leaves his sister, Linda Gamble Brinker of Muskogee, Okla.; niece, Julie Brinker of Denton, Texas; and nephews, Allen Brinker, M.D., of Kensington, Md., and David Brinker, M.D., of Baltimore, Md.
