CLARICE L. BIGGS

Clarice L. BIGGS, 93, mother of the late Edna PETERSON of Grinnell, died Saturday, May 22, at the Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Douds (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

She was born May 4, 1900, in Karlsborg, Wis., the daughter of Charles and Lena GUSTAFSON OLSON. She was married to Howard Jay BIGGS Dec. 19, 1918, in St. Paul, Minn.

Mrs. BIGGS was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Alden of rural Fairfield; one daughter, Arlene ROBERTS of Fairfield; a brother, Elwood OLSON of Webster, Wis.; one sister, Mariette TYBERG of Grantsberg, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters, four sons, three brothers and two sisters.

A memorial has been established in her name.
