Milford WATSON

Milford WATSON, 72, of Richland died Friday evening, March 13, 2015, at Park Place Elder Care in Mt. Pleasant.

The funeral is set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Richland United Methodist Church in Richland, with the Rev. Carl Benge and the Rev. Harlan Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery.

Visitation at Gould Funeral Home in Richland will open at 4 p.m. today, with the family present 6-8 p.m.

Memorials for Richland United Methodist Church, Rubio Ladies Club or the family can be left at the funeral home, church or mailed to the family at 310 W. Stroup, Richland 52540.

Mr. WATSON was born May 29, 1942, in Rubio, the son of D.H. "Bun" and Marjorie Arlene BOND WATSON. He married Elaine BEKEL June 29, 1962, in Germanville.

He had worked for Rockwell International in Fairfield for more than 30 years, Bluebird in Mt. Pleasant, Engineered Building Design in Washington, Iowa, and Keokuk County in Sigourney.

Mr. WATSON was a member of Richland United Methodist Church, Richland Methodist Men and Richland Lodge No. 38, A.F. & A.M.

Survivors include: his wife; one daughter, Kristi DYSON and husband Jared of Sigourney; one son, Scott WATSON and wife Cathy of Douds; five grandchildren; and one brother, Dean WATSON of Ottumwa.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; one grandson; and one sister Sherry REES.
