Margaret Belle POOL, 103, of Fairfield, died Monday, March 9, 2015, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.
The funeral is planned for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Suburban Heights Baptist Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. POOL was was (sic) born Nov. 29, 1911, in Selma, the daughter of Frank MOORE and Marie WINTERS. She married Lester Robert POOL May 18, 1933, in Batavia. He died July 31, 1986.
For the last 50 years, Mrs. POOL lived in Fairfield. She was a homemaker and did outside bookkeeping.
Mrs. POOL attended Suburban Heights Baptist Church.
Her pastimes included baking pies, crocheting, sewing, reading and walking. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include: four children, Ella CASS and husband Darrell of Fairfield, Donna COATNEY of Marshalltown, Sandra BASS and husband Dean of Birmingham and Jerry POOL and wife Carolyn of Birmingham; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Rex MOORE of Eldon.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents; one sister, Louise ESSARY; five brothers, Theodore, Harold, Charles, Edward and George MOORE; and one granddaughter.
