Sharon J. BARBEE

Sharon J. BARBEE, 74, formerly of Birmingham, died today, Monday, March 9, 2015, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, Iowa.

As per Mrs. BARBEE's request, the body will be cremated. A private graveside service for family will be held at a later date.

Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting the family.

Mrs. BARBEE was born Aug. 29, 1940, the daughter of Vernon and Hazel RIEDEL CASS. She married Glen BARBEE, and they later divorced.

Mrs. BARBEE had resided at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield and then Maplewood Manor in Keota.

Survivors include: one son, Tony BARBEE of Springfield, Missouri; four brothers, Darrell CASS of Libertyville, Robert CASS of Las Vegas, Dan CASS of Birmingham and Larry CASS of Stockport; and one sister, Teresa DOROTHY of Vallejo, California.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and one brother, Don.
