Vivian Maxine PHILLIPS HESTON

Vivian Maxine PHILLIPS HESTON, 87, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

An intimate, private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are entrusted to Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth.

Mrs. HESTON was born June 5, 1927, in Fairfield, the daughter of Paul Maxwell and Claudine JOHNSON PHILLIPS. She married Wayne HESTON in 1947. He died in 1991.

She was reared and schooled in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School.

She lived and worked in Fairfield for many years before moving to Nebraska in 1976 where she worked for and retired from the Omaha Public School System. She was a secretary.

She enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, being outdoors and attending class reunions.

Survivors include: one son, Todd HESTON of Plattsmouth; three daughters, Dawn MORROW and husband Tim of St. Louis, Debbie CORNELIUS of Fairfield, Kim WINTERS and husband Randy of Plattsmouth; nine grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents: Paul and Claudine PHILLIPS; one sister, JoAnn PHIEFF; one brother, Bill PHILLIPS; and one son-in-law, Mike CORNELIUS.
