Leslie Colleen HINKLE

Leslie Colleen CLOVER HINKLE, 45, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and formerly of Keosauqua, died at 1 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at Pine Lane Therapy and Living Center.

The body will be cremated. A private service is planned at Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services. No service is planned locally.

Miss HINKLE was born Oct. 12, 1969, in Ottumwa, and later adopted by Ernest and Betty HINKLE.

She attended and graduated from Van Buren Community School District.

After graduation, Miss HINKLE, worked at Tenco in Ottumwa until her health failed. She lived at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua, then moved to Pine Lane Therapy and Living Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Survivors include: her adoptive parents, Ernest and Betty HINKLE; two sisters, Viola BICH of Fairfield and Jayne SIMMONS of Mitchellville.

Leslie Colleen CLOVER HINKLE, 45, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at Pine Lane Therapy and Living Center.

The body has been cremated. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, with the Rev. Herb Shafer officiating (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Gifts to a memorial to be designated later by the family can be left at the cemetery or mailed to the family at 1883 Webber Road, Mountain Home, AK (sic - AR) 72653.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is handling the arrangements.

Miss HINKLE was born Oct. 1969, in Ottumwa. She was adopted by Ernie and Betty JERREL HINKLE.

She grew up in Birmingham and graduated from Van Buren High School. She spent her adult years living in Ottumwa and working at Tenco until her health failed and she moved to Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua and then to Pine Lane Therapy and Living Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was baptized in the Birmingham United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed the Special Olympics.

Survivors include: her adoptive parents; and two sisters, Viola BICK of Fairfield and Jayne SIMMONS of Mitchellville.

She was preceded in death by: three brothers, Ronald, Michael and Wesley HINKLE.
