Janet KELLER LAWSON, 80, of Fort Myers, Florida, and formerly of Keosauqua and Stockport, died at 3:51 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Janet KELLER LAWSON

Janet KELLER LAWSON, 80, formerly of Stockport and Keosauqua died Wednesday, Jan, 28, 2015, at the home of her daughter, Lisa MAST in Alva, Florida, a suburb of Forty Meyers (sic - Myers), Florida.

The funeral is set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Stockport Christian Church in Stockport, with the Rev. Eric Keller and the Rev. Don Hill officiating. Burial will be in Miller Chapel Cemetery northeast of Keosauqua.

Visitation will open at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the family present from 5-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. LAWSON requested memorials to Stockport Christian Church. Gifts can be left at the funeral home or church or mailed to the family at 17851 Oak Creek Road, Alva, FL 33920.

Mrs. LAWSON was born Dec. 15, 1934, in rural Stockport, the daughter of Boyd and Marie BROWN KISLING. She married Raymond KELLER Aug. 24, 1952. He died Jan. 31, 1980. She married Roxie LAWSON Jan. 1, 1995. He died May 8, 2009.

Mrs. LAWSON graduated from Stockport High School and Indian Hills Community College as a medical secretary.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Prairie Grain Co. in Stockport and Van Buren County ASCS office in Keosauqua. In Fort Myers, she worked as a unit secretary at Charter Glade Hospital.

She had lived in Florida 1982-1995 and again since 2011.

Mrs. LAWSON was a member of Stockport Christian Church and had been a member of Stockport Chapter No. 544 Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include: one son, Leland KELLER and wife Melody of Enid, Oklahoma; two daughters, Lisa MAST and husband Darrell of Alva, Florida and JoEllen KELLER of Fort Myers, Florida; six grandchildren; one stepgrandson; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Donald KISLING and Norman KISLING, both of Stockport and Randy KISLING of Keosauqua; and one sister, Rita McCOY of Phoenix, Arizona.
