Lynn R. "Lennie" Lansman, 66, a resident of Jefferson, Vt., died early Sunday morning, July 4, 2004, at the Concord Hospital in Concord, N.H.

Funeral prayers will be offered at 4 p.m. Thursday at McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home in Concord. A private burial will be held.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lansman was born Aug. 23, 1937, in Fairfield, the son of Raymond and Beryl Lynn Lansman.

He had served in the United States Army.

He recently retired as a sales representative in the food industry to follow his dream of traveling cross country and visiting national and state parks.

He camped and hiked. In the New Hampshire mountains, he climbed all 48 4,000-foot peaks and earned membership in the 48-4000 Footers Club.

Mr. Lansman spent summer months as a park ranger in the Vermont and New Hampshire state parks. During the winter months, he traveled south.

Survivors include one son, Glen Lansman and wife Jill of Jeffersonville, Vt.; one daughter, Diane Sullivan and husband David of Hollis, N.H.; one sister, Lois Shields of Fairfield; one brother, Kenneth Lansman; and four grandchildren.
