Jane L. WATSON, 70, of Ottumwa, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.
The funeral is planned for 10 a.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, with the Rev. James Shrimplin officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa (note: in Wapello Co., IA).
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the family present from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to For the Cure, PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75244.
Mrs. WATSON was born July 22, 1944, in Fairfield, the daughter of Warren and Vera CLINGMAN HILL. She married Richard G. WATSON Nov. 4, 1967.
A 1962 graduate of Fairfield High School, Mrs. WATSON worked for 33 years at John Deere Ottumwa Works before retiring in 2000.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Ottumwa Quilt Guild. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle.
Survivors include: her husband, Richard; one son, David WATSON and wife Melissa of Ottumwa; one granddaughter; one sister, Peggy KIMMERLE of Frisco, Texas; and one brother, John HILL of Batavia.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Lee HILL.
