Karyl K. CHAMBERS, 77, of Keosauqua died at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Karyl K. CHAMBERS

Karyl K. CHAMBERS, 77, of Keosauqua, died at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.

The funeral is planned for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, west of Keosauqua.

Visitation will be open from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials to Alzheimer's Association can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 1601 Eighth St., Keosauqua 52565.

Mrs. CHAMBERS was born Jan. 21, 1938, the daughter of Clare T. and Edna M. WOLLAM MUIR.

Mrs. CHAMBERS grew up in Lebanon, Iowa, and graduated from Keosauqua High School in 1956.

Shortly after graduating, she moved to and worked in Mississippi for 10 years. She moved back to Lebanon and worked for Traveler Insurance in Ottumwa. Then, she moved to Keosauqua and worked for McGrath Law Offices. from which she retired (sic).

Mrs. CHAMBERS was a member of the Lebanon Methodist Church and attended Cantril Christian Church.

She was an avid quilter, seamstress and gardener.

Survivors include: one son, Jim CHAMBERS and wife Peggy of Keosauqua; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gary MUIR of Keosauqua.

She was preceded in death by: her parents.
