Carl Franklin BALDOSIER

Carl Franklin BALDOSIER, 95, of rural Brighton died at 3:30 a.m. today, Tuesday June 22, 2004, at Nelson Nursing Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain, with Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary of The Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Polishville.

Prayers for a Christian Wake will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church. Memorials have been established for masses and the Perpetual Care Fund for the St. Mary of The Immaculate Conception Cemetery or Hospice of Washington County.

Mr. BALDOSIER was born Feb. 7, 1909, near Germanville, the son of David and Katherine ZILLMAN BALDOSIER. He married Leona NELSON April 6, 1938, at her parents' home in Lockridge. She died June 25, 1953. He married Darlene IVORSKI June 21, 1958, at the St. Joseph Church rectory.

Mr. BALDOSIER attended the Sharps Corner rural school, was a farmer and at times, an off-farm laborer. He also worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad and as a factory laborer

He was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Polishville Association.

He was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County.

Survivors include his wife Darlene; one son Larry BALDOSIER and wife Nancy of Lockridge; two daughters, Stephany HARWARD and husband Scott of Fairfield and Constance MARTIN and husband Matt of Woodland Park, Colo.; two granddaughters; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.

In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Raymond, John and Max BALDOSIER.
