Alvaree Danels, 83, of rural Batavia, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City.
A graveside service will be Friday at Abingdon Cemetery with Keevin Koch officiating,Raymond Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Danels was born Aug. 1, 1920 in Fremont, the daughter of Floyd and Nellie Perry Krizer. She married Carl Rinbolt. He died in 1940. She married Joseph William Danels 11 July 1958 in Ottumwa. He died 23 Oct. 1991.
Mrs. Danels lived most of her life in the Abingdon community. She attended Abingdon school and Packwood High School. She worked in quality control at Universal Products Company, Fairfield. She raised her two grandchildren, Michelle and Marty Rainbolt.
Surviving are Michelle Kiews and husband Bill, Marty Rainbolt and wife Shirley, all of Abingdon. A son, Merrill Raainbolt, also survives.
