Judith Lynn CROUSE

Judith Lynn CROUSE, 50, of 1220 S. Webster, Ottumwa, died December 14, 2014 at home.

She was born September 15, 1964 in Ottumwa to Lewis and Anna Marie VER PLOEGH LEHMAN. She married Robert Lee CROUSE Jr. on June 18, 1983 at the Faith Community Church in Eddyville.

A 1982 graduate of Eddyville High School, Judy was on the Honor Roll and in the Who's Who of Iowa. She attended Indian Hills Community College. While in college she had worked in the county attorney's office. Judy was a case coordinator having worked for the State of Iowa in the Court Administrator office since 1983. She was a member of Faith Community Church in Eddyville. Judy had been an avid motorcyclist since 2006 and was very proud to have ridden her own bike to Stugis many times. She loved shopping and was quite a coupon shopper. Judy enjoyed pool parties in the backyard and was a self-taught gardener.

She was a faithful, loyal and devoted wife and mother.

Surviving is her husband; her children, Robert Lee CROUSE III and Anna Marie (Mark Anthony) WILLIAMS, both of Ottumwa; a granddaughter, Kylin; her siblings, Cathy (Ed) ADAMS and Danny (Bevy) LEHMAN both of Eddyville; her mother-in-law, Carole CROUSE; a sister-in-law, Cheryl NEWMAN of Des Moines, many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Felix.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law, Robert Lee CROUSE; and a nephew, Brian ADAMS.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Hornback officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Private inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery at a later date (believe this to be the Highland Cemetery in Eddyville, Mahaska Co., IA).

Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Faith Community Church in Eddyville or Hogs 4 Dogs.
