Barbara E. HUDDLESTON, 71, of Keosauqua, died at 6:05 a.m. today, Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Barbara E. HUDDLESTON

Barbara E. HUDDLESTON, 71, of Keosauqua, died at 6:05 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.

The funeral service is planned for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Larry Shipley officiating. Burial will be in Center Chapel Cemetery southeast of Keosauqua (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Visitation, with family present, will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. At Mrs. HUDDLESTON's request, the casket will be closed following a private family viewing at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials to Center Chapel Cemetery can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at PO Box 15, Keosauqua 52565.

Mrs. HUDDLESTON was born July 18, 1943, in Keosauqua, the daughter of Winford and Lois SCOTTON STARNES. She married Jerry HUDDLESTON July 18, 1986.

Mrs. HUDDLESTON graduated from Keosauqua High School, worked at Barker Wire and Riverbend Café and was manager of Van Buren Veteran's Club for many years, all in Keosauqua.

Survivors include: her husband, Jerry; three sons, LeRoy PILCHER Jr. and wife Julia of Donnellson, Winford PILCHER of Milton and Shawn PILCHER and wife Heather of Farmington; one daughter, Sue RATH and husband Rick of Keosauqua; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Tony HUDDLESTON and wife Sally of Mt. Pleasant and Matt HUDDLESTON and wife Danielle of Burlington; one stepdaughter, Rhonda HUDDLESTON of New London; three brothers, Winnie STARNES and Charley STARNES both of Keosauqua and Wilson STARNES of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two grandchildren.
