PACKWOOD - Morgan WELLS, 84, Packwood farmer, died Thursday morning at the Jefferson County Hospital. He had been in failing health the past year.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in the Packwood Cemetery.
WELLS was born Nov. 29, 1889 near Packwood. He had lived on this farm three miles southwest of Packwood all of his life.
He was the son of William and Jeannett GILLETT WELLS and a member of the People's Church, northwest of Batavia.
He is survived by several cousins, and preceded in death by three sisters.
