Rites For ANDERSON

Ervie ANDERSON, 74, Route 2, Fairfield, died at 6:25 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m., at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dean W. Berg, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the Salina Cemetery.

ANDERSON was born Jan. 18, 1899 in Jefferson County, the son of Albert and Lottie STARR ANDERSON.

He was reared and educated in the Salina Community. He was married to Myrtle LARSON in 1921. She died in 1922 (sic - 1923). He was married to Frances NELSON on May 6, 1926 and she preceded him in death on Jan. 8, 1964 (sic - Jan. 7th).

A retired farmer, he was employed by Parsons College for five years in the maintenance department. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the Salina IOOF.

ANDERSON is survived by one son, Kenneth S. ANDERSON, Route 2, one daughter, Mrs. Keith (Rose) CRILE, Route 2, four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Russell BATES of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by one brother.
