Graveside rites

May BLACK, former resident of Fairfield, died Friday at a nursing home in Albia.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Local relatives include a niece, Gladys JONES, 202 E. Washington.

Admin. note: She appears in our Evergreen Cemetery listing as Minnie May BLACK, and is 'May C.' on her gravestone with a birth year of 1889. According to her marriage license, she was Minnie May CORR LOUTH at the time she married second husband Andrew, with whom she is buried. She and Andrew LeRoy BLACK (who died in 1958) are buried in Lot SDiv.2-020.
