Curtis Lee MORTON

Curtis Lee MORTON, 51, died this morning, Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

Per Mr. MORTON's wishes, no services will be held following cremation.

Memorials can be made to Hospice Compassus or to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences can be left at www.raymondfuneralhomes.com.

Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield is handling arrangements.

Mr. MORTON was born Nov. 2, 1962, in Chicago, the son of Leland B. and Sue E. ROBERTSON MORTON.

He grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School.

He was an auto mechanic at Danielson Motors and Jefferson Motors Company.

Survivors include his parents of Fairfield; one daughter Jessica MORTON of Fairfield; two brothers, Gregg MORTON of Fairfield and Chris MORTON of Cedar Rapids; stepchildren, Matthew WELCHER, Melinda CHATFIELD and Monica ELLIOTT, all of Fairfield; and special friend Christine Leazer of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
