Diane B. HEIDECKER

Diane B. HEIDECKER, 66, of Dickinson, North Dakota, died Monday, Sept, 8, 2014, (sic) at St. Benedict's Health Center in Dickinson.

A Mass of Christian burial was this afternoon at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dickinson, with the Rev. Todd Kreitinger as the celebrant. Interment was at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Dickinson.

Ladbury Funeral Service in Dickinson handled the arrangements.

Diane Barbara ROLL was born Dec. 19, 1947, the daughter of Frank and Anna M. MEIER ROLL. She married Dean BURNS Oct. 14, 1967. She married Clayton HEIDECKER May 27, 2000, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

In 1958, as a child, Mrs. HEIDECKER moved with her family to Dickinson, where she attended St. Wenceslaus Grade School and graduated from Trinity High School in 1966. She attended Business College in Rapid City, South Dakota.

She and her husband Dean BURNS made their home in Stockport, where they owned and operated Captain Clean.

In 1995, Mrs. HEIDECKER moved back to Dickinson. She worked for Dickinson Tire for 15 years.

She enjoyed playing cards, working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles, dancing, country music, crocheting and watching TV.

Survivors include: her husband Clayton; son Rodney BURNS and wife Jennifer of Iowa; daughter Deanna DOHERTY and husband Sean of Illinois; five grandchildren; her mother of Dickinson; siblings, Janice EVANS of South Dakota, Tom ROLL of South Dakota, Beatrice MUELLER of Douth Dakota, Shaun ROLL of Colorado and Judy MEDUNA of Colorado; stepdaughter Barbara LAMB of Missouri; five stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by: her infant daughter; and her father.
