Ella Marguerite Parrett, 88, of Summerfield, Fla., died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Fla.

The funeral will be held Monday in the Forest Lawn Chapel in Ocala, with the Rev. Larry Massey officiating, assisted by the Rev. J.C. Mitchell.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials can be sent to the Community Harvest Baptist Church, Summerfield, Fla. 34491.

Mrs. Parrett was born Dec. 7, 1915, in Troy, the daughter of Arthur and Edith Knott Korn. She was married for 67 years to Edward A. Parrett.

The Parretts moved to Ocala in the mid-1950s, where they owned and operated a service station.

She was a member of the Community Harvest Baptist Church in Pedro, Fla.

Her hobbies were cooking and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha Perry and husband Bruce and Karen Parrett; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; all of Pedro.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her sisters, Lena Parsons and Betty Korn.
