Karen Ann ROSS SISK

Karen Ann ROSS SISK, 66 of Fairfield, died Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Jefferson County Health Center.

Per her wishes, the body has been cremated. A graveside memorial service is set for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Brant Knudsen officiating.

Memorials can be made to Noah's Ark Animal Foundation and Faith Christian Outreach Church. Cards and memorials can be sent to 704 W. Broadway Ave., Fairfield 52556. On-line condolences can be made at www.behnerfh.com.

Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. SISK was born April 15, 1948, in Fairfield, the daughter of Leonard and Wanda Maxine SMITH ROSS. She married Jerry L. SISK May 21, 1993, in Fairfield. He died June 5, 1999.

Mrs. SISK graduated from Fairfield High School, with the Class of 1966. She worked in the Fairfield area until 2003.

She considered all of her friends her family because she was an only child. She loved her cats and considered them part of her family. She loved to laugh and play jokes on her friends. She loved people and loved giving and getting hugs. She never met a stranger and loved talking to anyone. She also enjoyed NASCAR.

Survivors include: two stepchildren, Roxanne Hope STOCKDALE and spouse Kelly of Jewell and Michelle SISK of Fairfield; four stepgrandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
