Joy MAKEPEACE PARROTT

Joy MAKEPEACE PARROTT, 83, of Mesa, Arizona, died Monday, July 7, 2014.

A memorial service was held July 12 at Apache Wells Community Church in Mesa. Inurnment was at First United Methodist Church in Mesa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Arizona Center for the Blind or Apache Wells Community Church. Visit www.MariposaGardens.com to leave a tribute to Mrs. PARROTT.

Arrangements were entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care in Mesa.

Mrs. PARROTT was born Dec. 20, 1930, in Fairfield, the daughter of Jesse Nelson and Faye Emily KYLE MAKEPEACE.

Survivors include: one son, Randy PARROTT and wife Barbara; two daughters, Gloria BECKER and husband Bob and Cindy GOODWIN; 10 grandchidlren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and two sisters, Julie Ann TATE and Marjorie BARTON.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" PARROTT; one brother, Rodney MAKEPEACE; and one sister, Marilyn EWING.
