Mark A. Sanderson, 36, of Mount Pleasant, died Monday, May 10, 2004, north of Mount Pleasant from injuries incurred in an accident.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Beatty Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Walt Graffam officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with family present from 7-8 p.m.

A memorial fund has been established.

Mr. Sanderson was born July 1, 1967, in Keosauqua, the son of Kenneth W. and Naomi Garmoe Sanderson. He married Tina M. Stevens Aug. 31, 1992, in Mount Pleasant.

He had worked at Heatilator Inc. in Mount Pleasant for five years, and also helped with farming.

He fished and hunted, worked with small engines and spent time with his children.

Sanderson had attended Faith Christian Outreach Center.

Survivors include his wife; mother, Naomi Sanderson of Hillsboro; children Sara and Brandon Sanderson, both living at home in Mount Pleasant; two brothers, Bill Sanderson of Hillsboro and Mike Sanderson of Bonaparte; one sister, Marg McDaniel of Stockport; and paternal grandmother Leona Sanderson of Hillsboro.

Preceding him in death were his father, grandparents, one sister and two brothers.
