Ronnie Wayne BAILEY, 64, of Wright, and formerly of Fairfield, died of a heart attack Friday, July 4, 2014, at Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa.
The body has been cremated and no service is planned. The ashes will be buried at a later time.
Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Mr. BAILEY was born Dec. 19, 1950, in Fairfield, the son of David Leon and Wilma LATHROP BAILEY.
He lived most of his life in Fairfield, Mt. Pleasant and Eldon areas.
He worked at Perfex Manufacturing in Washington, Iowa and Falco in Fairfield, as wells a (sic) bartender and cook at Chommy's in Eldon.
Mr. BAILEY was an outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He spent much time on the river running bank poles and trot lines, which is why he was often referred to as "River Rat."
He was also known to his close friends as "RB."
Survivors include two sons, Michael BAILEY of Redwood Valley, California, and Kevin BAILEY of Wright; two sisters, Marjorie GRIFFIN of Morrilton, Arkansas, and Phyllis BULLARD of Ottumwa; and one brother David "Bill" BAILEY of East Pleasant Plain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a twin sister, Bonnie; one sister, Sharon; and one brother, Leroy.
