Donald HARBOUR

PACKWOOD - The funeral service for Donald Lee HARBOUR, 72, of Packwood, who died at 4:15 a.m. Friday, June 21, 1991, at Parkview Care Center, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Raymond Funeral Home.

The Rev. Edith Dunkin and the Rev. Charles Layne will officiate. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials have been established to the Packwood United Methodist Church, the Packwood Christian Church, the Linby Baptist Church and the Packwood First Responders.

HARBOUR was born Feb. 4, 1919, in Long Beach, Calif., the son of George W. and Ethel HUFFINE HARBOUR. He grew up in Long Beach and graduated from the University of Redlands in Redlands, Calif. He received his divinity degree from the School of Theology at Boston University and received a graduate degree from the University of Dubuque.

A Methodist minister, HARBOUR served the Packwood United Methodist Church and the Packwood Christian Church from 1976 to his retirement in 1981.

He married Jane SWEDBERG June 19, 1945, at Earlimart, Calif.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Marc HARBOUR of Gering, Neb.; two daughters, Elizabeth PETTIGREW of Ames and Nancy Lee HARBOUR of Gainesville, Fla.; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Douglas Dean HARBOUR; and his twin brother, Dean.
