Allen Dean "Al" MORRIS, 53, of Batavia, died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at home.
A funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Interment will be in Competine Cemetery near Farson (note: in Wapello Co., IA).
Memorials may be directed to the family and be left at the funeral home.

Mr. MORRIS was born Sept. 2, 1960, in Centerville, the son of Harvey R. "Bud" and Leona Pauline "Polly" DONELSON MORRIS. He married Lori MARTIN July 4, 1992 at Abingdon.
He grew up in Davenport and graduated from Central High School in Davenport.
He lived in the Batavia area for the past 12 years.
He worked at the Dexter Company in Fairfield and was a farm hand.
Survivors include his wife Lori; five children, Tracy SPRINGSTEEN, Allen Dean "Chip" MORRIS II, and Michael MORRIS, all of Davenport, Aric JENSEN of Washington, Iowa, and Amber DYE of Fairfield; 14 grandchildren; one brother, Bruce MORRIS of Davenport; and four sisters, Janice ORNDOFF of Birmingham, Elaine MURPHY of Phillipston, Massachusetts, Susan DICKINSON of Fairfield, and Wendy VanEE of Sigourney.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
