Mary E. (WEAS) CLARK

CLARK, Mary E. (WEAS), 74, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center.

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, August 22, 1939, to Frank and Frances (HOFGESANG) WEAS. She grew up in Louisville and graduated from Presentation Academy in 1957.

She married William T. STAMMERMAN in 1959 and the family moved to Fairfield, Iowa in 1966. She married Bruce CLARK in 1970 and they had a family farm in the Packwood, Iowa area.

Mary returned to Louisville in 1986. She worked at DJ, Inc. for about 19 years. When she retired, she became a real estate agent for SCB Realty, Inc.

Mary loved dancing, the casino, visiting the local pubs with her web of friends, going to her grandson's sport games, and her cat "Patches."

She also was a Kentucky Colonel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her hsuband, Bruce; her son Frank, and her infant twin daughters.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna LYMAN (Rod) and Terri L. BROWN (Scott); her grandsons, Noah MORTELL, Boston and Declan BROWN; her brothers, Andy WEAS (Lore) and Frank WEAS; and her life-long friend Donna J. Kenney.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., Louisville, Kentucky, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mary E. Clark Memorial Scholarship Find at DeSales High School.
