Betty L. REEDER, 66, dies

Betty L. REEDER of 904 S. Sixth St. died Friday night at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. She was 66.

REEDER was born Jan. 6, 1922, in Fairfield, the daughter of Albert and Anna Mae DUTTWEILER KING. She married Keith R. REEDER Dec. 10, 1949, in the Methodist Church Chapel in Fairfield.

She had lived her entire life in Fairfield. She worked in the grocery business for several years and spent 38 years at Robinson Plumbing & Heating before retiring in September 1986.

REEDER was a 1940 graduate of Fairfield High School and a member of First United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, REEDER is survived by two brothers, Al KING of Tulsa, Okla., and Tel KING, Poway, Calif.; one sister, Willa MILLANE of Fairfield; four nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret and Mary, and one brother, Reinhold.

The funeral service for REEDER will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.

Family visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home.
