Services Monday for SMITH

Mildred N. SMITH, 82, died at 7 a.m. Friday at the Nelson Nursing Home.

She was born March 6, 1905 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Louis E. and Nina GRANT HEISEL. She married Walter N. SMITH on Jan. 24, 1934; he died in 1973. Mrs. SMITH lived most of her life on the couple's farm in Cedar Township. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one sister and one brother, Marjory WILHELM of Stockport and Virgil HEISEL of Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Charles and LeRoy.

Funeral services for Mrs. SMITH will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Butt officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Cemetery in Glasgow.

Visitation began at noon today. Memorials may be left to the American Cancer Fund.
