LIBERTYVILLE, Ia. - Daniel KELLEY, 80, well known resident of Libertyville, died about 5:20 a.m. today at the Nelson nursing home at Fairfield where he had been a patient for the past 18 months. He had been in failing health the past three years.
Last rites will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Libertyville Methodist church with the Rev. Elton Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Fell cemetery. The body is at the Weston Behner funeral home in Fairfield.
Daniel KELLEY was born Feb. 27, 1880, near Lockridge in Jefferson county, the son of William and Carrie STILES KELLEY. He was married to Ida A. RODIBAUGH on Nov. 26, 1903, near Libertyville.
The family home is located two miles southeast of Libertyville where he spent most of his married life. KELLEY had spent his entire life in Jefferson county. He was a member of the Libertyville Methodist church.
He is survived by two sons, Clifford E. KELLEY, Fairfield; and Lee B. KELLEY, Burlington. He is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers, Gust and Harley KELLEY, and a sister, Mrs. Elmer ANDERSON, all of Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, two brothers and a sister.

Admin. note: Wife Ida Almeda died in 1956 and is buried with him.
