Funeral arrangements are pending at Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.

Dale R. STUTZMAN 81, of Lockridge, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at his home in Lockridge.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at the Victory Fellowship Church in Brighton with Pastor Larry Black officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, at the Victory Fellowship Church in Brighton.
Burial with military honors will be in the Lockridge Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
Dale was born July 21, 1932, in rural Wayland, the son of Harry and Clara TSHANTZ STUTZMAN. He was united in marriage to Floy Letitia CANBY on January 15, 1956.
He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Dale had worked at J.I. Case of Burlington, Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown and drove a truck.
He farmed in the Lockridge community for 50 years.
He finished two years of junior college then went on to seminary college, receiving his degree as an ordained reverend. He was a founding member of the Victory Fellowship Church in Brighton.
He was a missionary to Mexico for a year, along with his family, and also in El Salvador.
He was a member of the Victory Fellowship Church and the American Legion.
Dale is survived by his wife Letitia of Lockridge; his children, Debra BURTLOW and her husband John of Forrest Grove Oregon, and Regina STUTZMAN and Doug STUTZMAN; four grandchildren, Jame Elaine MURPHY, Brian Dale STUTZMAN MURPHY, Winona BURLOW (sic - BURTLOW?) and Sierra BURTLOW.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Brian Dale, three brothers and five sisters.

Front PageLockridge man killed in ATV accident
Dale Ralph STUTZMAN, 81, of Lockridge, died Wednesday due to an accident in the 2100 block of Watercress Boulevard near Lockridge.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office reports that STUTZMAN, a resident on Watercress Boulevard, was driving a 2010 Yamaha Grizzly 700FI four-wheeler coming out of a farm drive onto Watercress. He began backing up and went into the east ditch. The vehicle flipped and he was pinned under the four-wheeler. STUTZMAN was dead at the scene.
In addition to the sheriff's office, Jefferson County Sheriff's Reserve, Lockridge first responders and fire department and Midwest Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.
