Funeral services for Billy Bruce KITCHEN, 3 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam KITCHEN, two miles southwest of Libertyville, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Batavia Christian church in charge of Rev. Dwight Walker. Interment was in the Batavia cemetery.
The little son died Friday afternoon at 4:45 o'clock after being ill with flu and pneumonia. He is survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Nellie, Paul, Neva, Kathryn, Gerald, Geraldine and Donald, all at home.

Billy Bruce KITCHEN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam W. Kitchen was born near Batavia, Iowa, July 17, 1925, and departed this life on Jan. 18, 1929, at the age of three years, six months and one day.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his Father and Mother, four sisters and three brothers, one little sister Florence preceded him in death at the age of three years in 1912. His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John KITCHEN of Fairview, Ill. and Mrs. and Mrs. W.S. MARING of Batavia, Iowa, besides a host of relatives and friends.
Little Billy was of a cheery disposition, and was loved by everyone, and will be greatly missed in the home and by all who knew him.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Batavia Christian Church, with Rev. M. Dwight Walker in charge. Interment was made in the Batavia Cemetery.
