F.D. HOSKINS Taken In Death

Frank David HOSKINS, 73, former Jefferson county resident, died Saturday night in Oxnard, Calif. A retired farmer, he moved to California three years ago. His Fairfield home was at 404 W. Broadway.

Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Lewis Savage. Burial will be in Friends cemetery at Pleasant Plain.

HOSKINS was born Aug. 24, 1889, at Pleasant Plain, the son of Benjamin and Betsy PICKERING HOSKINS. He was reared and educated in the Pleasant Plain community. He was married to Edith MACY Nov. 11, 1908.

HOSKINS was a member of the Friends church. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Gerald HOSKINS, Floyd HOSKINS and Chet HOSKINS; and one daughter, Mrs. Lucile MYERS, all of Oxnard. Six grandchildren also survive.

One Son, one brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
