Mrs. MOORHEAD rites Wednesday

Graveside services for Mary Louise MOORHEAD, 99, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. John E. Wheatley officiating.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Behner Funeral Home.

Mary Louise MOORHEAD was born Aug. 15, 1882, in Fairfield. She was the daughter of Rollin J. and Mary McKEMEY WILSON. She was a third generation born in Fairfield, a member of the Class of 1907 at Parsons College, studied voice in Des Moines and Chicago, and was a reader in the First Church of Christian Science in Fairfield.

She was married in 1904 to James P. MOORHEAD who was head of the music department of Parsons College for a number of years. He died March 21, 1943.

Survivors include two daughters: Mary VEECK, Crystal Lake, Ill., and Margaret MATEY, Appleton, Wisc.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
