Helen L. STEWART

The service for Helen L. STEWART, 84, formerly of Fairfield, who died at 9:40 p.m. Monday, March 15, 1993, at the Arbors in Shelburne, Vt., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Wallarab officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be open starting at noon Friday at the funeral home with the family present from 7 to 8 that night. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or to charity of donor's choice.

Mrs. STEWART was born March 3, 1909, in Fairfield, the daughter of James A. and Anna ANDERSON SHAW. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1927. On Oct. 23, 1933, she married Weston E. STEWART in Chicago. He died March 22, 1976. A resident of Fairfield for most of her life, she was a homemaker and had worked as a secretary at Universal Producing Co. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, What-So-Ever Bridge Club and was a former member of Fairfield Golf and Country Club.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Ann FRACK of South Burlington, Vt.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, David, preceded her in death.
