Genevieve ANDERSON

The service for Genevieve L. ANDERSON, 79, 905 S. Park St., who died at 7:35 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 1991, at Parkview Care Center, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with The Rev. William Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited by the Altar and Rosary Society at 4 p.m. today at Raymond Funeral Home, where prayers for a Christian wake will be held at 7 tonight. Memorials may be made to Mass stipends or charity of donor's choice.

Mrs. ANDERSON was born Feb. 24, 1912, at Malmo, Neb., the daughter of James Sylvan and Frances Edna RYAN WILSON. She grew up in Fairfield, graduated from Fairfield High School, from Fort Madison Business College for three years. A bookkeeper and accountant, she worked for a total of 30 years for Louden Machinery Co., Dexter Co., and Iowa Malleable Iron Co., and worked for seven years at Parsons College. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society. She married George W. ANDERSON on Nov. 4, 1940, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield. He died July 9, 1991.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. A son, Bobby, her parents, four brothers, Paul, James, LaVerne, Richard and a sister, Mary Margaret BARKER, preceded her in death.
