Robert McCLELLAN dies in Illinois

Robert Louis McCLELLAN, 63, of Rockford, Ill., former Jefferson County resident, died Thursday of a heart attack at a Rockford hospital.

Arrangements are pending in Rockford.

McCLELLAN was born May 9, 1924 in Fairfield, the son of Clarence J. and Freda F. TYGRET McCLELLAN. He grew up in Jefferson County and graduated from Fairfield High School and Parsons College. He was a Navy veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Agatha; a brother, James Loy McCLELLAN of Fairfield and two nephews, Stanley McCLELLAN, both of Fairfield. His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral Monday for R. McCLELLAN

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The funeral service for former Jefferson County resident Robert L. McCLELLAN will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Home, Riverside and Rockton, in Rockford.

McCLELLAN, 63, died Thursday at a Rockford hospital. Family visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
