Phyllis Rae KELLY

PACKWOOD - The service for Phyllis Rae KELLY, 53, of West Meadows Apartments in Packwood, who died at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 1991, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Edith Dunkin officiating. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery. The casket will be closed. Friends may call at the funeral home to sign the register. Memorials have been established to University of Iowa Hospitals MICU and Packwood First Responders.

Mrs. KELLY was born Jan. 11, 1938, the daughter of Joseph Gerald and Murle BAKER BOTTORFF. She grew up in Packwood, graduated from Packwood High School in 1955 and attended the Ottumwa beauty Academy in Ottumwa. A beauty operator for 35 years, she had owned and operated beauty shops in Ottumwa and Cedar Rapids, had worked in Fairfield and recently had opened her own Phyl's Nature'l Salon in Fairfield. She was a member of Packwood United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Kelly REHNSTROM of Marion; three grandchildren and her mother of Packwood. A son, Kirk Gerald HORTON and her father preceded her in death.
