Lynn W. HUFF

Lynn W. HUFF, 61, of Loves Park, Ill., former area resident, died at 9:05 a.m. Monday, April 1, 1996, in the Rockford Memorial Hospital emergency room, following a massive heart attack.

The service was Thursday morning in Elm Baptist Church, with Dr. Forrest Williams, pastor officiating. Entombment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

HUFF was born April 28, 1934, in Grandview, the son of Levi and Halle CONKLING HUFF. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1953, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He married Sally A. HILSABECK on Feb. 24, 1962, in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. He had lived in the Rockford area for more than 50 years.

HUFF retired from Kent Feed Co. after 21 years of employment. He worked part time for Stewart and Associates Security. He belonged to Elm Baptist Church, where he was a trustee and choir member, and was a member of Northern Illinois Steampower Club and the Mendelssohn Club.

Surviving are his wife; a brother, Dale of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Irene DEVORE of Wapello, Alice HUFF of New Sharon; several nieces and nephews. His parents and an infant brother, William, preceded him in death.
