Services for Suzanne KORY GUERRIERO, 42, 404 W. Hempstead, who died at 10:08 p.m. Tuesday at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, where she had been hospitalized since Dec. 18, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Fund.
Mrs. GUERRIERO was born Nov. 10, 1945 in Fairfield and lived most of her life in the community, graduating from Fairfield High School in 1963. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. She had worked for many years at Pamida and was currently employed at the Sears Merchant Store in Fairfield.
Survivors include a son, Pvt.2 William SPLETTER of Fort Sam Houston, Texas; a daughter, Angela SPLETTER at home; her parents, Evelyn and Robert "Hess" NELSON of Fairfield; a brother, Tom NELSON of Aurora, Colo.; two sisters, Pat McHUGH of Prospect Park, Pa., and Debbie NELSON of Aurora, Colo.

Admin. note: Buried in Lot 4th.117. She was the daughter of Jack Irving KORY and Evelyn L. TURNER KORY. While the SPLETTER marriage can be found in Cook Co., IL, records, the surname of GUERRIERO only appears on her Social Security record effective January, 1972. Robert Hess NELSON was her mother Evelyn's second husband, whom she married in 1949.
