Funeral Thursday for T. SCHILLERSTROM

Townsend SCHILLERSTROM, 95, rural Lockridge, died at 4 a.m. today at Jefferson County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Salina Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dan Woodward officiating. Burial will be in Salina Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Gideons International or Round Prairie Baptist Church.

SCHILLERSTROM visitation Wednesday

LOCKRIDGE - Townsend G. SCHILLERSTROM, 94, Route 1, Lockridge, who died at 4 a.m. Monday at Jefferson County Hospital, was born Nov. 15, 1893 at Salina, the son of Swedish parents, Joseph and Josephine EDMUND SCHILLERSTROM.

He was a veteran of World War I and helped his father manage the country store at Salina for 45 years. He moved to the farm near Lockridge in 1946. He was a member of Round Prairie Baptist Church. He married Naomi KRUMBOLTZ June 23, 1921 at Salina. She died Oct. 30, 1978. Three brothers, two sisters and a great-grandchild preceded him in death.

Surviving are two sons, Herbert of Scottsdale, Ariz., Dale of Lockridge; two daughters, Esther HAWK of Brighton, Roseline HISER of Salina; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances PRINCE and Pearl LINN of Fairfield.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Salina Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dan Woodward and the Rev. Ted Whitham officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Salina Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home. Memorials have been established to Gideon International and Round Prairie Baptist Church.
