Gladys CURRAY rites Tuesday

BATAVIA - Gladys F. CURRAY, 89, Batavia, died Saturday evening at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral chapel. Memorials have been established to Peoples Church and United Metodist Church of Batavia.

Mrs. CURRAY was born April 6, 1898 in Lexington, Neb., the daughter of Daniel and Harriet MINGUS MILLER. She had lived in the Batavia community since 1928. She married Milo S. MITCHELL Dec. 8, 1919. He died March 3, 1923. On April 7, 1928, she married George G. CURRAY. He died Dec. 20, 1981.

Surviving are three daughters, Phyllis PUMPHREY and Pearl NEIL, both of Batavia, Jean HAILE of Packwood; a son, Thomas of Ankeny; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
